Mushroom Shaped Joystick Knob for Wheelchair Controls

This black mushroom shaped joystick knob has been specially designed for operating a powered wheelchair using the entire hand. Thanks to its distinctive shape and 60 mm diameter, the knob provides a large and easy-to-grip surface. This makes the joystick easier to operate for users who have difficulty with fine finger movements or a pinch grip.

The knob is manufactured from Murytal-C (POM C), a strong and wear-resistant engineering plastic. The overall height of the knob is 30 mm.

The joystick knob features a central shaft hole with a diameter of 4 mm. Depending on the diameter of the existing joystick shaft, this hole can be drilled out to the required size. Once fitted, the knob can be securely fixed to the joystick shaft using the integrated hex socket grub screw.

For certain joystick controls, including PGDT and Dynamic DX, a suitable clamping sleeve can also be used. This allows the knob to be securely and accurately clamped onto the joystick shaft. The available clamping sleeves are shown under the related products at the bottom of this page.
