Foot fixation (10)

Foot fixation is used when a foot cannot be positioned stably on the footplate of a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Typical situations include limited control of the foot or ankle, the need for correction of the foot position, or when the knee cannot bend far enough to place the foot properly on the platform. Without additional support, the foot may shift or slide off.

Within this category you will find solutions for a wide range of needs. From plastic foot fixation cups with strap, where the shoe is clearly guided, to multi-adjustable systems that allow precise adjustment of height, depth and lateral angle. This makes it possible to adapt the position to both the user and the mobility device.

In addition to wheelchairs and mobility scooters, the plastic cups are also frequently applied on adapted bicycles. They can be mounted onto a pedal so the foot remains safely in place while cycling.

Some heel cups and heel supports are still part of the assortment. These items will not be restocked and are available while supplies last.
