Micro Light switch - activation force aprox. 11.3 grams

The AbleNet Micro Light is an extremely sensitive momentary switch designed for users who can apply only minimal activation force. With an activation force of approximately 11.3 grams, it is one of the lightest-touch switches in the AbleNet range.

The Micro Light is used in assistive technology, AAC solutions (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and powered wheelchairs, where very light and precise activation is essential. Due to the low activation threshold, the switch is suitable for users with very limited motor strength or endurance.

Within wheelchair applications, the Micro Light can be used as an external switch for specific functions, for example in combination with RBI modules (Remote Button Interface) or other switch interfaces. It is also suitable for configurations where multiple functions are accessed via a single switch, providing reliable and predictable operation.

The elongated activation surface of approximately 4.5 × 1.3 cm supports precise operation with minimal activation force. Despite the extremely low activation force, the switch provides clear tactile feedback for controlled activation.

Thanks to the standard 3.5 mm mono connector, the Micro Light is compatible with most switch interfaces, wheelchair modules and communication devices.
