Proximity Switched Driving Module Wheelchair

When mobility and strength in arms and hands is limited, this sensor-based control is a solution.

This 4-axis control uses sensors that signal when a finger is held above it. So no button needs to be pressed. Select the direction of travel and hold your finger above the arrow, the wheelchair will drive in this direction.

The multi switched control module can be mounted under a Perspex tray with a thickness of 8 or 10 mm. It requires to drill 4 holes for the suspension. This also protects the module better against dirt and moisture because virtually nothing falls through the top. The module can be placed anywhere in the tray.

The module is also equipped with an on/off button and a Select (mode) button. When the module is installed in combination with an Omni2, all other functions of the wheelchair, such as actuator control and lighting, can be accessed via the Select button. You can then use the arrows to navigate through the different menus.
