Universal windscreen for mobility scooters – including standard mounting kit

This universal windscreen is a practical accessory for mobility scooter users who spend longer periods on the road. It helps to reduce wind impact on the face and thereby limits the effects of cold air and issues such as watery eyes, improving overall riding comfort.

The windscreen measures approximately 58 cm in height and 60 cm in width, providing effective protection without unnecessarily restricting visibility. The height is minimally adjustable (approx. 5 cm). Width adjustment allows the windscreen to be fitted to a wide range of mobility scooters. The angle can be adjusted to a limited extent through the mounting configuration using the supplied accessories. In practice, this is a one-time adjustment and does not require regular readjustment.

The set is supplied as standard with a transparent windscreen, a complete set of mounting components and clamp blocks for 22 mm handlebars, a diameter commonly used on mobility scooters. During installation, it may be necessary to partially remove the handgrip to allow correct positioning of the clamps. Some scooters are already equipped with mirror mounting points, which can also be used to attach the windscreen.

For certain mobility scooter models, dedicated mounting adapters are available to create a more stable mounting solution when standard clamps are not suitable. These adapters can be found in the category “Windscreens and mounting systems”.

Originally developed for use in the motorcycle industry, this windscreen is robust enough for mobility scooter applications. Please note that in windy conditions, side wind may be noticeable, making steering slightly more demanding. The windscreen is intended to improve comfort by reducing wind exposure and is not designed as full weather protection against rain.

Installation can often be carried out independently. If in doubt, or in case of non-standard handlebar constructions, professional installation is recommended.
