R-net Omni2 SID Input Module D51710 – 2 of 3

The PG Drives Technology R-net Omni2 D51710 is the SID or input module within the modular Omni2 control system for powered wheelchairs. The module provides the interface between alternative controls and the R-net system.

The D51710 is used together with the Omni2 display module D51709 and a specific R-net Omni2 interconnect cable. These three separately available components together form the Omni2 system.

SID module of the R-net Omni2 system

The D51710 is designed for applications where an alternative method of control is required. The module provides the connections and electronics needed to interface various external input devices with the R-net system.

Depending on the application, the Omni2 can be used with a head array, proximity switch, single switch or other alternative controls. The available options and functions depend on the connected control and the configuration of the R-net system.

The D51710 is connected to the D51709 display module using the specific Omni2 interconnect cable.

The R-net Omni2 system

The Omni2 consists of three separately available components that together form the complete system:

1. Display module D51709 – the colour display of the system.
2. SID module D51710 – the input module for connecting alternative controls.
3. Interconnect cable – the cable connecting the display module and SID module, available in different lengths.

The three components are supplied separately and can be replaced or combined depending on the application.
