This motor brake is an electric parking brake mounted on the electric motor of the Sterling S700 mobility scooter. It locks the motor when the scooter is stationary or switched off and prevents unintended rolling.
The motor brake does not provide braking while driving. Speed reduction is controlled by the motor controller.
The brake provides 10Nm holding force and is fitted with a freewheel lever to place the scooter in manual push mode.
Suitable as a replacement motor brake, model ACY001BO.
