This motor brake is a replacement part for the Drive ST4D-2G (Tourer) mobility scooter. The electric parking brake is mounted on the motor and locks the scooter when stationary or switched off.
The motor brake does not provide braking while driving; deceleration is controlled by the motor controller.
Version ALY0S6BU (DC24V, 16.8W) with 6Nm holding force. Fitted with a freewheel lever to place the scooter in manual push mode.
This brake is also used in the CTM HS589 mobility scooter. Drive markets this model under its own name, while the original platform is manufactured by CTM.
Additional production markings may appear on the unit. The Drive part number is 950001857. The CTM part number is 511700-58910.
