Joystick knob Softball SB70 for R-net/VR2/VSI

The Softball SB70 is an alternative joystick knob for control systems from the R-net, VR2 and VSI series. These systems are developed by PG Drives Technology and are widely used on powered wheelchairs.

The knob features a large spherical shape and is made from a soft material. This allows the joystick to be operated not only with the fingers but also with the palm or with limited hand function. The Softball is mainly applied for users who do not have sufficient grip or motor control to drive with a standard joystick knob.

The increased contact area enables broader movements without requiring precise pinching or fine finger control. Therefore, this accessory is particularly suitable for rehabilitation solutions and individual adaptations. The bright yellow colour also improves visibility for both user and attendant.

Important notice

Due to the additional weight on the joystick stem, this knob is not recommended for use with so-called Light joysticks, such as the Compact Light or Allround Light. The extra mass may cause the joystick to be activated unintentionally.
