The Shark DK-REMD21B is a multifunctional joystick module from Dynamic Controls’ Shark system, which was used for many years on a wide range of powered wheelchairs. This controller combines drive control, lighting, and seat adjustment functions in one compact and user-friendly unit. The REMD21B version features a low-force joystick, matte-finished keypad, and a programmable audio/visual warning system compliant with ISO7176-14.
The LED display shows battery status, speed, and fault codes at a glance. The joystick controls driving speed and direction and can also be used, in seat mode, for proportional control of one or two actuators. Additionally, the controller supports standard operation of lights and indicators.
The DK-REMD21B connects to a Shark power module via the Shark BUS interface and is fully programmable using a hand-held or PC-based programming tool. Please note that the entire Shark platform is no longer in production, and availability of refurbished parts is limited.
This refurbished joystick is suitable for servicing existing systems. Proper programming with original configuration settings is required to ensure correct operation.
